Engineering
| The Engineering Department supports the Operations Division by planning, budgeting, reviewing, designing, inspecting and mapping new facilities. It also assists with rehabilitation and replacement of existing facilities. In addition, the Engineering Department coordinates with the Finance Department regarding fees, budgets and funding issues. The District has a $28 million dollar capital improvement program for fiscal year 2005/2006. | | Within the Engineering department is Information Technology and Water Resources. The Information Technology department is responsible for system maintenance, network management, systems support, providing support to all District system users, updating software/hardware and monitoring district needs for new equipment. The Water Resources Department is responsible for the operation of Canyon Lake Water Treatment Plant and all regulatory or non-regulatory related water quality monitoring of source waters and distribution system water.
