September 29, 2007, Saturday---All about Native & California Friendly Plants This class will introduce you to the wonderful variety and color of our native plants. These plants are extremely drought tolerant and require a lot less maintenance and water than standard landscaping plants. We will discuss alternatives to turf and other ground covers, plants for slopes, shade trees, and plants that attract wildlife. If you're planning on planting this fall, you don't want to miss this class!
The workshop is offered free to the public and students will be provided with all necessary course instruction and materials. Registration is limited and students are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and pick up materials.
