LAKE ELSINORE, CA.— Among 975 employers in the Inland Empire region considered for the distinction, Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) is one of 35 companies to be recognized by the Press Enterprise as a Top Workplace in the Inland Empire for 2019.
EVMWD, staffed by members of the Water Employee Services Authority (WESA), was honored as a Top 10 workplace in the midsize business category. This decision was based upon employee feedback collected by a third-party employee research and technology firm and compiled by the Press Enterprise.
“Amongst the many outstanding nominees and recognized organizations, it is an honor to be recognized,” said Andy Morris, board president of WESA and EVMWD. “It is a true testament to the District’s continuing commitment to employee satisfaction, development, and public service.”
This marks the sixth year the Press Enterprise has conducted the workplace search. Organizations located within Riverside and San Bernardino counties and several Los Angeles County communities were eligible for consideration.
EVMWD provides service to over 155,000 water and wastewater customers in a 97-square mile service area in Western Riverside County. The District is a sub-agency of the Western Municipal Water District and a member agency of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.
