Director Wicke is a graduate of Ohio State University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He has also earned a Certificate in Business Management from UC Riverside and is a local business owner. He was first elected in 1994 to succeed Charles Bryant who had served on the Board since 1981. Mr. Wicke ran unopposed in 1998 and was appointed by the County Board of Supervisors to a four year term. He ran unopposed again in 2002 and was once again appointed for another four year term. Director Wicke was first elected President of the Board in 1997, again in 2000, 2004, 2007, and 2011. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Meeks and Daley Mutual water Company since 1995 and has served as its President since 2001. Director Wicke has also served on the Board of Directors of the Association of California Water Agencies, Region 9 since 1999, representing all of the water agencies in San Bernardino, Imperial and Riverside Counties. Director Wicke attends meetings on the District’s behalf for the following organizations:
